Marketing Manager – Communications (Beverages & Plant-Based)
Location: Home-Based (with regular travel to London office and monthly trips to Vienna)
Reports To: Marketing & Strategy Director – Beverages & Meat Free
Direct Reports: Senior Communications Manager, Brand Communications Executive
Budget Responsibility: Approx. $3–5M advertising spend

As Marketing Manager – Communications, you’ll shape and lead the UK brand communications strategy across our beverages and plant-based portfolio. This includes iconic and mission-led brands such as Linda McCartney’s, Joya, Natumi, and LIMA. Your focus will be on delivering powerful, insight-driven campaigns that build brand equity, drive awareness, and generate action across multiple consumer touchpoints and markets.
You’ll lead a small, high-performing team and manage a strong agency network to bring brand stories to life—always with a clear eye on effectiveness, commercial impact, and creativity.

We’re looking for a seasoned Marketing Communications Manager to help us inspire consumers, energise teams, and drive impactful campaigns that matter.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Brand Communications
Develop and execute a clear 18-month communications plan aligned with brand and business goals

Drive relevance, talkability, and distinctiveness across all campaigns

Partner with insights and brand teams to turn data into meaningful action

Build thought-leading work that balances purpose with commercial outcomes

Agency Leadership & Campaign Development
Lead strategic partnerships with agencies across creative, media, and digital

Ensure quality briefs, clear KPIs, and high standards of delivery

Oversee the creation of campaign assets and content that work across channels

Maintain non-working media below 20% of total spend

Team Leadership & Development
Inspire and lead a talented team of two direct reports

Encourage development, provide coaching, and build a high-performance culture

Navigate challenges and ensure prioritisation of key projects

Budget & Effectiveness Management
Own and manage a communications budget of $3–5M

Champion ROI, innovation, and “test & learn” marketing approaches

Ensure all activity supports the brand’s strategic growth and long-term equity

What You’ll Bring
️ Significant experience in marketing communications within FMCG or consumer brands
️ Proven ability to lead strategic campaign development from insight to execution
️ Confident agency manager with experience driving strong creative and media partnerships
️ Commercially savvy, with a strong sense of ROI and budget control
️ A leader who can develop and inspire teams and build cross-functional alignment
️ Organised, detail-driven and proactive, with excellent stakeholder management skills
️ Passionate about purpose-led brands and plant-based living
