Mechanical Engineer Project Leader
As a Mechanical Engineer Project Leader you will work primarily in the UK water market, contributing to projects that significantly impact our environment and communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Work as part of a “project triangle” with a Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor to ensure technical, constructability, and commercial aspects of project delivery are considered throughout.
* Lead the design of treatment or infrastructure projects from the initial outline to detailed design, through construction, commissioning, and handover.
* Coordinate the project team, including civil, electrical, mechanical, and process designers, BIM modelers, and technical specialists, ensuring designs are completed on programme, within budget, and to the quality defined by each framework and industry specifications.
* Undertake design in own discipline and mentor less experienced colleagues where appropriate.
* Build positive relationships with the clients’ project, operational, and technical assurance teams and promote a “one‑team” approach.
Required Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering.
* Working towards professional qualification.
* A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.
