Robert Half Finance & Accounting are supporting a business based in Tewkesbury who are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on an interim basis for 4 months.

Duration: 4 months
Location: Tewkesbury
Hourly rate: £14.35 + holiday pay
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, office based
Responsibilities:
* Set up and maintain supplier accounts in the purchase ledger
* Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
* Handle supplier enquiries
* Reconcile supplier statements and aged creditors
* Process weekly BACS payments and petty cash transactions
* Accurate filing and scanning of invoices
* Assist with monthly statutory reporting
Desired experience/background:
* Proven previous experience within purchase ledger
* Initiative to work in both individually and in a team environment
* High attention to detail
* Great communication
* Computer literate
