We're currently seeking committed and experienced Children and Young Persons Support Workers to join our team, supporting children and young people (up to 18 years old) with mental health, emotional, and behavioural needs. Your Role As a Support Worker, you'll be playing a key role creating positive outcomes for the children and young people you work with: Delivering personalised care and emotional support Building effective, trusting relationships with children and their families Responding to challenging behaviours using calm, therapeutic approaches Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the highest standards of care Promoting independence, confidence, and life skills Following care plans and actively contribute to their ongoing development Supporting with appointments, education, and leisure activities Keeping accurate records and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every child in your care What We're Looking For A minimum of 6-12 months of paid UK experience in a similar support role NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) Confidence in managing challenging behaviour A caring, compassionate, and patient nature Strong communication and problem-solving skills Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work 12-hour day/night shifts including weekends Full UK Driving Licence (preferred) Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce) What We Offer Competitive pay with enhanced weekend rates, from £15.50 to £31 per hour depending on shift Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle Fully funded Level 4 qualification in Children and Young People Ongoing training and development Weekly pay A supportive team that truly cares Interested?
