The Role
As a Senior IT Project/Programme Manager, you will oversee large, complex technology programmes, ensuring their timely delivery 🕒, managing budgets 💰, and meeting strategic business goals 🎯. You will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders 🤝 to keep projects on track. This role demands leadership in motivating diverse teams, ensuring performance and accountability across all workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
✔️ Lead end-to-end programme management for large-scale Data & Technology initiatives, ensuring they align with business objectives.
✔️ Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels, ensuring clear communication and resolving issues as they arise.
✔️ Manage programme budgets, ensuring financial accountability and alignment with company-wide goals.
✔️ Drive teams to meet deadlines, solving roadblocks that might delay progress and ensuring consistent momentum.
✔️ Motivate and guide teams to maintain a performance-driven culture, keeping everyone aligned with programme objectives.
✔️ Develop stakeholder management strategies, ensuring smooth collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
What We’re Looking For
🔑 Extensive Programme Management Experience: A proven track record in managing large, complex Data & IT programmes, ideally within tech or digital transformation.
🔑 Stakeholder Management Expertise: Skilled at navigating relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication at all levels.
🔑 Financial Acumen: Strong background in managing budgets and ensuring financial accountability throughout the programme lifecycle.
🔑 Effective Communication: Ability to provide clear, concise responses, particularly in senior-level meetings, simplifying complex issues into actionable insights.
🔑 Team Leadership & Performance Management: Proven ability to motivate and lead teams, ensuring alignment with programme goals and high-performance delivery.
🔑 ESG Knowledge: While not essential, experience in ESG projects is a plus, as our client strives to balance technology with sustainability.
