Job Title: HR Systems Business Analyst Location: Uxbridge Department: Human Resources / Information Systems Reports To: HR Systems Manager Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract Role Overview This role is dedicated to supporting the Hire to Retire Project, focusing on the development, implementation, and delivery of strategic HRIS initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in business systems process analysis, ensuring HRIS solutions are aligned with business needs and contribute to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Systems Analysis Conduct analysis, design, development, and maintenance of HRIS systems within the Hire to Retire workstream. Recommend improvements to system operations and maintain documentation, tools, and governance. Provide architectural guidance and technical support to the project team. Stakeholder Analysis & Management Engage stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and other methods to gather business requirements. Define stakeholder roles and manage involvement throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate analysis outputs and manage risks and issues effectively. Requirements Engineering & System Testing Facilitate workshops to capture and document business requirements. Develop functional specifications and implementation plans. Create and manage testing and user acceptance plans. Process Management Model current (‘As-Is') and future (‘To-Be') business processes. Identify process gaps and propose effective solutions. Collaborate with process owners to drive operational improvements. Data Modelling Document data relationships and ensure master data integrity. Work with implementation partners to validate database schema and integration readiness. System Implementation Develop standard operating procedures and training materials. Train superusers and support business adoption of new systems. Essential Criteria Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. Proven experience in implementing large-scale software solutions. Strong skills in stakeholder analysis, requirements engineering, and business process modelling. Experience in data modelling and managing business change. Familiarity with design tools, process improvement strategies, and best practices. Desirable Criteria Business Analysis certification. Degree-level qualification in Business or IT. Experience working within IS/HRIS teams and delivering HR-related projects.
