Are you the kind of person who laughs in the face of danger, scoffs at sleep, and doesn't mind spending quality time with broken-down vehicles on the side of a freezing, rain-lashed motorway at 3am?
Great. You might just be our next Recovery Driver.
About the Job
Forget warm offices and comfortable chairs. This role is all about:
* Long hours (because cars never break down at a convenient time).
* Lousy working conditions (mud, rain, sleet, snow, possibly the tears of the stranded motorists you're rescuing).
* Bad weather (Mother Nature will be your constant companion, and she's in a mood).
* Strange locations (lay-bys, ditches, farm tracks).
* Interesting smells (engines, exhausts, and the heartfelt aroma of pure desperation).
What You'll Do
* Rescue drivers who insist their car "just stopped for no reason."
* Load, tow, lift, haul, and occasionally perform miracle-level parking manoeuvres.
* Maintain a heroic level of patience with the general public.
* Drink more tea than medically advisable.
* Tell friends and family, "Sorry, I'm on call," at least twice a week.
What We're Looking For
* A full UK driving licence (the more categories, the better).
* Mechanical know-how, or at least the confidence to look like you know what you're doing.
* The ability to stay calm while the weather tries to kill you.
* A sense of humour darker than a December motorway hard shoulder.
* Someone who doesn't mind being a roadside knight in fluorescent armour.

But seriously - we do need great people with C1, C or CE driving licences to join our ever-expanding team across the South.
Basic salary (based on licence category)
* C kg - £33,000.00 per annum
* C - Above 7500kg rigid - £34,000.00 per annum
* C+E - Articulated - £35,000.00 per annum
Plus a variety of bonuses are available which could add a further £9000 per year.
Various working pattern are available, including 4on2off, Mon-Fri, 4on4off nights.
