Duties
* Conduct inspections of damaged vehicles at accident repair centres, customer homes, and workplaces across West London and North West London
* Assess the full extent of damages and estimate repair costs accurately using industry‑standard estimating software such as Audatex or Glass’s RE
* Review accident circumstances and ensure damage assessments are consistent with reported incidents
* Identify appropriate repair methods and prepare detailed electronic and manual estimates
* Liaise with technicians, repair centres, and customers to coordinate inspections and explain repair estimates
* Complete image/desktop inspections to support imaging engineers
* Ensure all reports and records are completed within designated timeframes, maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism
* Uphold technical and quality standards in all assessments and reports
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator, ideally within an accident repair environment
* ATA Vehicle Damage Assessor qualification or working towards it
* Strong knowledge of vehicle construction and repair techniques
* Proficiency with estimating systems such as Audatex, Glass’s RE, or similar
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Self‑motivated with the ability to work autonomously
* Good organisational and time management abilitiesUnderstanding of insurance processes and motor claims procedures
* Full UK/EU Driving Licence
* Willingness to undertake additional training, including AQP and IAEA membership
