Hybrid - any office base across Scotland: Edinburgh (Head Office), Glasgow, Irvine, Inverness, or Thurso
£45,000 - £48,000 + excellent benefits
A respected employer in the public sector housing industry is recruiting for a Finance Business Partner within their Finance & IT team. This role will support key financial processes, ensure accuracy of reporting, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation.

Role Overview
As Finance Business Partner, you will:
* Line manage Finance Assistant(s)
* Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset register
* Support monthly management accounts preparation and reconciliations
* Oversee accounts receivable and invoicing processes
* Monitor bank accounts, cashflow, and reconciliations
* Assist with budget monitoring and statutory accounts preparation
* Suggest and implement process improvements within the finance team
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
* AAT qualified, equivalent professional qualification, or 5 years relevant experience
* Experience working in a finance team, meeting deadlines, and using financial systems
* Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Line management experience
Desirable:
* Experience supporting statutory year-end accounts
* Budget monitoring experience
* Housing association knowledge or sector experience
