We are looking for a Rights Assistant to join our thriving Rights team at Bloomsbury and provide administrative support to those responsible for selling licences and co-editions to the Bloomsbury Academic & Professional and selected Special Interest imprints.
Three-time winner of the Bookseller Academic, Educational & Professional Publisher of the Year Award, Bloomsbury's Academic & Professional Division publishes approximately 3,000 new titles a year. Established in 2008, the division has grown organically and through acquisition and publishes across the humanities and social sciences, from higher education through to professional practice. The successful candidate will play an important role in this division, in the rights team and in the company.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience
* Interest in Rights-selling and passion for books
* Proficient in Excel and MS office applications
* Confident in use of creative/design software such as Photoshop and email marketing software
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to manage varied workload and identify priorities effectively
* Time-management ability, attention to detail and a can-do attitude towards problem-solving
* Excellent collaborative and communication skills
* An interest in other countries and cultures

Salary Pay Point or range: £27,000
