As the Calibration Technician (Instrumentation and Process Controls), you are responsible for ensuring optimal performance of various instruments and equipment that measure heat, light, voltage, amperage, vacuum, and magnetic resistance.
Serve as the technical lead within the maintenance team for process control issues generated from PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
You will analyse results and may develop test specifications and electrical schematics. You will carry out reliability and performance tests on equipment and make adjustments required.
Develop controls and good practices for PLC, SCADA, and HMI to ensure recovery in the event of failure.
You will be suitably qualified with a City & Guilds, Apprenticeship or similar in an engineering discipline such as Controls & Instrumentation
Proven calibration experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, such as Pharmaceutical, Food, Beverage or Chemical. A working knowledge and practical experience with PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
