Assembly Technician
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assembly Technician to join a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based near Amersham. The Assembly Technician will work a 37-hour week and will report directly into the Production Manager.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all company products are built correctly using engineering drawings and instructions, in a timely and quality-focused manner.
* Adhere to production schedules and maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
* Follow engineering and technical procedures to assemble electro-mechanical components.
* Maintain clear, accurate, and traceable records for all products dealt with.
* Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
* Assist with testing and inspection as required to verify product quality.
Requirements
* Experience working in a manufacturing / production environment.
* Technical engineering knowledge or experience.
* A formal technical education.
* Good mechanical and electronics engineering skills and experience, ideally on small/fine equipment.
* Soldering skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to keep clear, accurate, and traceable records for all products.
* Driven and reliable.
