As a Retail Shift Manager you help maintain high standards daily, motivate your team and take responsibility for the shop floor to keep the store running smoothly in a fast‑paced environment. The role includes a competitive hourly pay rate, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, along with a generous benefits package that supports wellbeing and life outside of Lidl.
What you'll do
* Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
* Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
* Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
* Manage operations within your store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
* Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to make sure shifts run smoothly
* Give our customers the very best experience every time they visit your store
