Position Overview The Quality Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring incoming components and products meet ERP, industry, and customer-specific standards. This position involves detailed inspections, documentation, and reporting to maintain high-quality standards and seamless production workflows. This role demands attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming components and product against ERP, industry, and customer specific requirements. Basic dimensional verification of product using various measuring devices Checking of traceability requirements and documentation Checking and inputting of product shelf life Checking chemicals for compliance, shelf life, and CofC documentation Use of electronic measurement equipment to determine compliance against customer drawings. Raising and maintaining quality documentation Raising defect reports for non-conforming product Lisasing with purchasing to obtain RMA for non-conforming product Working to tight deadlines to ensure continuous supply to production demand Maintaining the defect database First off inspection This list of duties & responsibilities is not intended to be an exhaustive list of tasks performed. Competency A minimum of 5 Grade C GCSE’s Good Communication skills, both verbally, and written Good interpersonal/ relationship building skills Good understanding of components and product, electrical and mechanical Excellent attention to detail Numerate Ability to show proactiveness rather than reactiveness Qualifications/Skills/Personal Qualities – DESIRABLE Ability to work in team orientated environment but also being able to demonstrate results working independently.
