Job Title: Legal Assistant and PA to Partner
Location: Hours: .5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7.5 hours per day plus a -minute lunch)
Annual Leave: days + bank holidays

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant and PA to join the team and support a Partner within a busy department.
Key Responsibilities:
8. Preparing and managing correspondence, legal documents, and court papers
9. Audio and copy typing of legal documentation to a high standard (approx. % of your time will be spent typing)
10. Proactive client liaison – handling messages, passing on information, and dealing with simple queries
11. Maintaining an organised filing system
12. Preparing indexes and bundles, including electronic bundles
13. Carrying out administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and collating documents
14. Supporting the Partner with any additional duties as required
Person Specification
15. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary (ideally within Personal Injury)
16. Knowledge of relevant software applications (ideally Proclaim)
17. Understanding of Personal Injury processes and procedures
18. Excellent spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills
19. Strong typing skills (approx. % of time)
20. Proven ability to produce legal documents and correspondence to a high standard
21. High level of confidentiality and professionalism
22. IT literacy (e.g. Microsoft Office)
23. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
24. Strong organisational and time management skills
25. Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
26. High attention to detail and accuracy
27. Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
