Our client is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their professional team based in Welshpool. We specialise in the new build and refurbishment of residential, commercial, industrial, and educational projects. Our projects encompass various contract and tendering processes, including traditional, design and build, and plan and spec. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in all aspects of quantity surveying.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and control site expenditure, ensuring cost control, monitoring, and reporting.
Reconcile site costs and produce monthly cost reports and profit forecasts.
Carry out site measurements and prepare monthly payment applications/invoices.
Support the delivery team in day-to-day construction activities.
Collaborate with the Client Representative to submit and agree on variations.
Price variations and new works from first principles.
Perform subcontractor analysis and prepare subcontract agreements.
Assist the estimating team with tender preparation.
Requirements:
Well-presented, confident, and comfortable in a client-facing role.
Full driving licence.
Proficiency in computer literacy (minimum: Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Demonstrable track record of successful project delivery.
