About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist for one of our clients to join their multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation team in Liverpool. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide specialist clinical psychology and neuropsychology input to adults with acquired brain injuries — supporting their recovery, independence, and quality of life.
You’ll play an integral part in a team that values evidence-based practice, person-centred care, and professional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessments for adults with acquired brain injury.
* Formulate and implement evidence-based psychological interventions (individual, family, or group).
* Coordinate service user care as a keyworker or clinical lead within the team.
* Develop SMART goals in collaboration with service users and colleagues.
* Conduct risk assessments and provide expert input on psychological aspects of care planning.
* Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping and data reporting.
* Provide guidance and support to families and carers.
* Engage in ongoing research, audit, and service development projects.
* Stay updated on the latest clinical and neuropsychological practices within neurorehabilitation.
About You
* Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (BPS-accredited) or equivalent.
* Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
* Degree in Psychology accepted by the BPS for Graduate Basis Registration (GBR).
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding principles.
* Skilled in report writing, research, and complex case management.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Resilient and able to work effectively with service users with challenging or unpredictable needs.
