An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Support for Learning Assistants to join our Cowie Primary School team this year - 20 hours per week, 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday (fixed-term contract to June 2026).
You will be fully involved in the life and work of the school, providing invaluable support and helping to contribute towards high quality care and education of all children.

Applications are welcomed from enthusiastic and committed individuals with experience of working with children of different ages and abilities. You will work within an enthusiastic and hard-working team to support children as part of a high quality, child-centred education. This may include intimate care duties, in addition to supporting individuals and small groups of learners to reinforce new skills, knowledge and learning.

You will be a reliable, patient and innovative individual, who will work effectively in partnership with others. In addition, you will have good communication and organisational skills, a positive and solution focused attitude, and show a commitment to ongoing professional development. Applicants should demonstrate a good working knowledge and understanding of literacy, numeracy and digital skills at primary level.
