We are looking for a highly organised, experienced, self-motivated, reliable, efficient and proactive Payroll Assistant to join our team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely payment of group salaries whilst keeping accurate and up-to-date time and attendance data for all Newly Weds Foods sites: Ossett, Corby, Shirebrook and Banbury and supporting European payroll activities for up to 1000 employees.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Support the processing of 5 UK payrolls
* Be the main point of contact with third party payroll agents for European payrolls
* Month-end accruals
* Processing P11Ds
* Process P46 car submissions
* Internal reporting
* Ordering of all payroll stationary i.e. payslips, P60's etc.
* Raising purchase orders for Childcare Vouchers

Person Specification:

* Previous experience of running a UK payroll is essential
* Experience of manufacturing/shift patterns is desirable
* Experience of working in a confidential environment
* Excellent Microsoft skills, but in particular, Excel
* Good understanding of pension auto-enrolment rules
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent time management skills

Additional Information:

This is an office based role. Working hours are Monday – Friday), with 1 hour lunch break, however flexibility is required depending on business need.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

* Banbury OX16 4TJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
