We are recruiting for a Consultant Plastic Surgeon, to work from our Harley Street clinic to perform a wide range of cosmetic surgical procedures aimed at enhancing or restoring physical appearance. The role involves patient consultations, surgical planning, operative procedures, and post-operative care. The surgeon will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clinical Duties:
o Perform cosmetic procedures such as:
+ Breast augmentation/reduction/lift
+ Rhinoplasty
+ Liposuction
+ Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck)
+ Facelift and neck lift
+ Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery)
+ Body contouring
o Conduct thorough pre-operative consultations and assessments.
o Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical best practices.
o Provide post-operative care and follow-up to monitor recovery and outcomes.
o Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
* Professional Development & Governance:
o Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
o Stay updated with advancements in cosmetic surgery techniques and technologies.
o Adhere to GMC guidelines and clinical governance standards.
o Engage in continuing professional development (CPD) and training.
* Team Collaboration:
o Work alongside anaesthetists, nurses, and administrative staff.
o Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
o Support junior staff and trainees where applicable.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Full registration with the GMC.
* Completion of FRCS (Plast) or equivalent.
* Extensive experience in cosmetic surgical procedures.
* Proven track record of patient safety and satisfaction.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
