Job Title: FS2 Teacher Location: Nottingham (NG7) Salary: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time “Looking for a Foundation Stage Superstar” GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic FS2 Teacher to join a welcoming client school in Nottingham (NG7), where high-quality early learning and child development are central to the school’s values. As an FS2 Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You will support children at a crucial stage of their education, helping them to develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning within a safe and inclusive environment. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the EYFS curriculum Create a stimulating, nurturing, and well-managed classroom environment Observe, assess, and track pupils’ progress, maintaining accurate records and learning journals Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development through structured and play-based learning Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and senior leaders Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing Support children with additional needs to ensure inclusive learning for all pupils Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Previous experience teaching in an FS2 or Early Years setting Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development Excellent classroom management and communication skills A caring, patient, and proactive approach to teaching young children An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply one with GSL Education Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing a new application.
