The maximum salary for this position (depending upon experience) is £32,000 per annum, plus tronc which is approximately £3,500 per annum.

Job Role Description:

The role of a Junior Sous Chef is a big apron to fill and involves many responsibilities that help to keep our kitchens safe, sanitary, well stocked and serving up sensational dishes to our wonderful customers. Our ultimate candidate would have a flare for delivering high quality, a passion for perfection in their presentation and the ability to successfully perform under pressure.
Duties include:
Assist the head chef and Sous Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations and managing the team.
Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner
Monitor food quality and taste to maintain consistency
Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and specials
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Skills:
Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality and presentation
Excellent knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredients
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong leadership and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
