Role overview
This is an entry-level position for someone keen to start a career in fintech in a client-facing role. You will provide high-quality customer care to a range of clients, using your German and English language skills to support the wider team and ensure an excellent client experience.
Key responsibilities
* Act as a first point of contact for clients, responding to queries in a professional and timely manner
* Handle inbound calls and other communications in German, then relay and document information in English for non-German-speaking colleagues
* Translate client needs and queries clearly and accurately between German and English
* Build strong relationships with clients by providing friendly, efficient, and solution-focused support
* Work closely with internal teams (such as Sales, Recoveries, and Analytics) to resolve issues and follow up on client requests
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and help identify recurring issues or process improvements
* Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture in a fast-paced office environment
Skills and experience
* Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
* Proficient in Excel
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Customer-focused mindset with a professional and friendly manner
* Ability to multitask, prioritise, and stay organised in a busy environment
* Eagerness to learn about fintech products and services
* No prior fintech experience required; any customer service experience is a plus
