Office Operations Manager - Hamilton, Scotland - £40,000 + Annual Bonus
The Job:
This is a key role within the business, working closely with the Directors to manage the day-to-day office operations while helping drive improvements across systems, reporting and operational processes.
The successful candidate will play an important part in strengthening the operational structure of the business as it continues to grow. Over time, this role will also take on further responsibility from the Directors, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop into a broader management position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting financial oversight, budgeting and cost management
- Producing management reports and business performance reporting
- Assisting with business planning and operational management
- Implementing new systems and processes to improve efficiency
- Streamlining internal workflows and administrative procedures
- Supporting the growth and development of the business alongside the Directors
- Coordinating operational planning and internal organisation
- Gradually taking on responsibilities from Directors as the role develops
The Company:
A growing environmental services business supporting the agricultural sector is looking to recruit an Office Operations Manager to join their team based in Hamilton, Scotland.
The Candidate:
- Experience in operations, office management, business administration or finance support
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confidence with reporting, budgeting or business performance tracking
- Experience implementing or improving business systems or internal processes
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of operational responsibilities
- A proactive and practical approach suited to a growing SME environment
Experience within agriculture, rural industries, environmental services or contracting would be advantageous, though not essential.
The Package:
- Salary £40,000 DOE
- Annual bonus scheme
- 37.5 hour working week (8:30am – 5:00pm)
- Full-time, office-based role in Hamilton
- Opportunity to grow with the business and take on further responsibility
