MSK Specialist Podiatrist – Ayrshire Central Hospital

Hours
36 hours per week.
UK Driving Licence
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What you will do
We are looking for an experienced Podiatrist in foot and ankle MSK who will support the development of Podiatry MSK services across NHS Ayrshire & Arran’s health and social care services. The role involves a complex MSK Podiatry caseload covering rheumatology, orthopaedics, paediatrics and MSK rehabilitation. It also offers opportunities for learning and development, patient self‑management, rehabilitation, and training other health professionals.
Knowledge, training and experience required
* HCPC Registration
* B.Sc. in Podiatry
* Evidence of effective management of a large and complex caseload with diagnosis and clinical decision‑making.
* Ability to be an autonomous practitioner.
* Experience in prescription of orthoses (off‑the‑shelf & bespoke).
* Evidence of IT skills & e‑systems.
