Job Description:
Weatherford has a very exciting opportunity for an experienced EUA Customs Compliance Manager to join the team in Aberdeen.
The main purpose of the EUA Customs Compliance Manager is to oversee, ensure control, and advise all Weatherford facilities regarding supply chain compliance with applicable statutory regulations and company policies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement logistics, customs, and compliance procedures, processes, and policies in line with regional and global initiatives.
* Maintain a Customs Risk register for each location within the Geozone and collaborate with management to address remedial actions.
* Monitor trade and customs compliance activities, ensuring correct licensing and documentation, and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Share best practices and streamline processes within the Geozone.
* Research and adapt to new and upcoming regulation changes within the Geozone.
* Ensure timely completion of all monthly statutory reporting requirements, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 KPIs.
* Provide training to Weatherford teams on Logistics and Customs Compliance topics.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives in customs, focusing on risk reduction, cost control, and lean documentation.
* Participate in internal and external audits.
* Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper arrangements for shipments locally, nationally, and internationally.
* Implement KPIs on customs compliance and develop customs control tower reporting.
* Perform other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management.
QHSE Responsibilities:

* Apply relevant policies and safety management systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
* Experience with Customs Procedures and Regulations.
* Experience with Logistics Processes and Procedures.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Initiative to resolve Logistics and Trade Compliance issues.
* Experience in Trade Compliance or related fields.
* Oilfield, logistics, or customs experience.
* Trade-related/cross-border experience.
* Leadership skills and organizational abilities.
* Attention to detail and good communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred:
* Engineering/Technical or Logistics background.
* Law degree or Customs brokerage license.
* Quality Assurance experience in Oil and Gas.
* Leadership experience driving change and continuous improvement.
