Description:
We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Assistant to join our Exchequer Team. The role involves working across core functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Income Management.
Grade: D: £25,183 - £27,269 per annum (pay award pending)
Post No: RF362
Contract: Permanent – 37 Hours per week

Responsibilities:
* Processing and managing invoices and payments, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
* Creating and amending supplier details, conducting due diligence, and verifying invoices.
* Supporting debtors’ activities, including invoicing, account maintenance, and debt collection.
* Managing income, investigating unallocated income, and resolving customer queries.
Requirements:
* Experience in public sector finance and familiarity with computerised financial systems.
* Studying or recently qualified AAT Technician (Level 4) preferred.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
* Good customer service skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
