We are currently recruiting for a Head of Technical Delivery to be a part of our CIO Team; this is truly a phenomenal opportunity to be part of our journey to transform Aviva by leading a key pillar of a large scale multiyear and multi-vendor strategic transformation. This role will lead the delivery of our Technical workstream to ensure we deliver a robust end to end solution and integration across Aviva and our strategic partners. Managing a change budget of circa £100m, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless migration activity, defining and delivering an end-to-end solution, aligning technical deliveries to broader Aviva strategic intent, ensuring IT standards are observed and ultimately ensuring seamless transition to our customers through technical change. If you have experience of leading large transformations alongside FNZ and/or Diligenta, we would love to hear from you A key part of the role will be to build, develop, and forge strong and mutually beneficial relationships with internal teams and a number of suppliers, to optimise end to end solution delivery, relationships, and ways of working. A bit about the job: As the Head of Delivery, you will be responsible for designing and delivering the end-to-end IT solution for a major transformational programme across Aviva and 3rd parties, providing leadership to the IT Delivery, Architecture and Testing teams and establishing efficient and effective ways of working between Aviva and 3rd parties. You will be accountable for adherence to IT design and security standards, the delivery of technical change journeys and telephony and hardware delivery. You'll also be responsible for the Development and Testing teams (both onshore and offshore) as well as IT integration into the Aviva estate and alignment to Aviva architecture strategy and standards. You will deliver large scale complex technical migration programmes, manage the technology, build positive relationships with stakeholders and lead key governance meetings. Skills and experience we're looking for: Experience with leading large transformations alongside FNZ and/or Diligenta Able to lead multi-disciplined teams on-shore and offshore and motivating a multi-disciplined and cross-site team to achieve results Strong knowledge and experience of IT delivery in a technical role Ability to drive decision making, aligned to delivery of outcomes with a proactive and efficient ability to plan, focused on value delivery, and driving proactive resolution of issues to maintain momentum A curiosity and active hunger to stay on top of all challenges as well as broader market/Aviva awareness and commercial mindset in decision making and communication approaches What you'll get for this role: Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
