Description
Handle purchase orders and arrange food and transport for meetings and events. Help with supplier quotes, support staff with requisitions, and keep records using Microsoft Office.
* Prepare and process purchase orders for GBS, GEC, and DAT departments
* Coordinate and place food orders for meetings and events
* Arrange transportation, including booking Ubers and Addison Lees, for events and work-related travel
* Request and review supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and quality
* Assist staff with issues related to Unit 4 requisitions.
* Use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
* To maintain accurate records in accordance with GBS requirements, ensuring compliance and maintenance of relevant systems
Entry requirements
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
* Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively as a valuable team member.
Training to be provided
The successful candidate will complete a Business Admin Level 3 Apprenticeship standard.
