Aureos are engineering specialists who work within infrastructure and we are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to work within the Fleet department from our Crewe office.
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Compliance Officer to take ownership of ensuring full compliance with the requirements of the HGV Operator Licence. This role is critical to the safe, legal, and efficient operation of our transport activities, ensuring that all statutory obligations and industry standards are consistently met.
The Compliance Officer will work closely with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to maintain accurate documentation, monitor driver and vehicle compliance, and prepare for audits and inspections. This role requires a strong understanding of transport legislation, excellent record-keeping skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing systems and processes that support compliance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our operational integrity and will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation with the DVSA and the Office of the Traffic Commissioner.
