We are looking for a skilled Plumber to join a Top Tier 1 Housing Assocition, delivering high-quality repairs in occupied properties. This is a great opportunity to be part of a team committed to improving housing standards in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out responsive plumbing repairs in occupied homes
2. Diagnose and fix leaks, blockages, and drainage issues
3. Install and replace sanitary ware including taps, toilets, and basins
4. Repair pipework, valves, and fittings, including work on unvented cylinders
5. Resolve issues with hot water systems and radiators
6. Ensure all work meets health & safety and regulatory standards
7. Accurately record work using handheld devices
8. Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle
9. Provide excellent customer service and keep work areas clean and safe
10. Report additional works or concerns and participate in the out-of-hours rota
Requirements:
11. Proven experience in domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance
12. Full UK driving licence
13. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
14. Good knowledge of health & safety practices
15. Experience using job management systems
