Assistant Fast-Fit Manager Vacancy – Corby
1. Basic Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 + Bonus
2. Monday to Friday working with Saturdays on a rota
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on, driven and commercially aware Assistant Fast-Fit Manager to join a busy and growing automotive Service Centre in Corby.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong technical or mechanical background who is looking to step into, or further develop within, a leadership position. You’ll play a key responsibility in supporting the Centre Manager with the day-to-day running of the operation while helping to drive performance and deliver outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities as an Assistant Centre Manager will include:
3. Support the Centre Manager in the daily operation of the site
4. Assist in leading and motivating the team to achieve performance targets and KPIs
5. Provide hands-on support within the workshop when required
6. Ensure high standards of customer service are delivered at all times
7. Monitor and manage stock levels effectively
8. Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards
9. Help drive sales, productivity, and overall centre performance
Requirements that the Assistant Centre Manager will need:
10. Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership position, within automotive or fast-fit
11. Strong mechanical or technical knowledge
12. Comfortable supporting technicians on the workshop floor when needed
13. A confident communicator with the ability to coach and develop others
14. Commercially aware with a focus on achieving targets and maximising opportunities
15. Good understanding of health & safety requirements
16. Organised with strong time management skills
17. Full UK driving licence
