Maths Teacher (One Month, Short-Term Cover)
* Contract: Part-Time, Temporary (One month - September 2025)
* Location: Bury
* Pay: Paid to scale £168 - £232 per day
We are seeking an eager and committed Maths teacher to provide a part-time cover (2 days per week) at a supportive and reputable secondary school in Bury. This is a short-term role for the September month, ideal for a qualified teacher looking to stay active in the classroom or gain additional experience in a supportive environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Plan, prepare and present the lessons to the students including setting home assignments.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning during the cover period.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
* Specialism in Mathematics
* Experience teaching maths at secondary level
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A flexible and proactive approach to short-term teaching
