GSL Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join secondary schools in Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring educator to help students explore history, geography, and other humanities subjects, fostering critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the world.
Job Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
* Inspire curiosity and independent thought through historical and geographical perspectives.
* Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student achievement.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Humanities or a related subject.
* Experience teaching Humanities at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment frameworks.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
