Electro-Mechanical Engineer – Submarines
Secondment – 1 to 2 years. Full-time, based in Derby, Raynesway. Requires 1 week per month travel.
Rolls-Royce invites applications for an Electro-Mechanical Engineer for the Submarines Production Alliance. You will be embedded in the platform team working directly for the Deputy Chief Engineer, supporting the interface between generating devices and systems.
What You Will Be Doing
* Interface with Electrical teams and subsystems to ensure coherence between the generating device and the overall system.
* Exercise safety‑delegated responsibility in the control design of HSTG, ME & TG, throttles and trips complex control systems.
Who We're Looking For
* Degree level in Engineering or equivalent (technician role not considered).
* Relevant domain experience preferred but not essential.
* Good communication, presentation skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
