Lead L&T Estates Surveyor Location: London, Hybrid Rate: £650 Per Day Contract: Interim/ Ongoing Spencer Clarke Group are supporting a large public sector organisation in London to appoint an Interim Lead Landlord and Tenant (L&T) Estates Surveyor. This is a senior, commercially focused role, leading on lease events, negotiations and revenue optimisation across a diverse property portfolio. You will take ownership of a rolling programme of L&T casework, ensuring matters are progressed promptly and in line with professional best practice, while balancing commercial outcomes with stakeholder needs. Responsibilities include Leading delivery of L&T casework including rent reviews, lease renewals, lease re-gears and other lease events Driving revenue growth and protecting long-term value across the investment and operational portfolios Preparing and maintaining schedules of comparable evidence to support negotiations Conducting negotiations with tenants, owners and professional representatives Instructing and overseeing legal documentation (leases, renewal documents, rent review memorandums, payment schedules as required) Providing clear updates and advice to key stakeholders, including written briefings and reports Representing the organisation in dispute resolution settings where required (tribunal, arbitration, court, expert witness work as applicable) Ensuring records and case updates are accurately maintained for the property/asset management system Providing technical guidance and oversight to surveying colleagues, helping to prioritise workloads and maintain performance About you Strong L&T background with proven success handling complex lease events end to end Local authority or similarly complex public sector estate experience is highly beneficial Confident negotiator with strong written reporting skills and stakeholder management Ideally RICS qualified (or working towards), with evidence of continued professional development Full UK driving licence and ability to attend site inspections How to Apply Send your CV or get in touch with Joe O'Halloran at Spencer Clarke Group on 01772 954200 or
