We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Kitchen Assistant. If this sounds like the right fit for you, we would love to hear from you!


About the Role

Your role as Kitchen Assistant involves supporting food preparation and maintaining a clean environment to ensure the safe production of beverages and meals, delivering high-quality service to residents.

Responsibilities include:

* Understanding safe food handling principles to uphold hygiene standards.
* Contributing to team efforts, responding positively to colleagues, and promptly following work instructions.
* Advising on supply and quality of items used, ensuring timely and appropriate ordering.
* Respecting the dignity and individuality of residents and their visitors.


About You

To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.

Our ideal candidate will:

* Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate high personal hygiene standards.
* Have knowledge of health and safety, including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
* Be an efficient worker capable of sustained physical effort and responding to a demanding workload.
* Show initiative and a positive, flexible attitude towards teamwork.
* Exhibit a caring and understanding attitude towards residents.
