Your role in a nutshell
With your high levels of enthusiasm for our brand and belief in the way we do business, you will share responsibility with the Store Manager to drive the store and team to deliver retail excellence and strong sales results.

Customer Experience - As an Assistant Store Manager, you will coach the team to achieve exceptional customer service standards in partnership with the store manager. You will oversee the operations and commercial practices of the store, both front and back of house, whilst maintaining harmony and efficiency on the shop floor. Our Assistant Store Managers are encouraged to lead and drive a customer-focused store experience daily. You should help develop consumer loyalty and awareness to build The Body Shop brand.
Delivery - Retail-related beauty expertise is highly desirable. It is desirable for our Assistant Store Managers to learn and use internal systems and analyze performance to help manage the store’s commercial aspects. In the ever-changing retail world, we need people who can monitor and manage change. Our Assistant Store Managers must help control and meet sales/performance targets. We’re looking for individuals with strong relationship skills who are confident coordinating between customers, the team, and the manager. Full knowledge of the beauty market, competitors, and passion for our products is essential.
Teamwork and People Management - Our people are at the heart of everything we do. Our Assistant Store Managers should be team players, able to assist the Store Manager and resolve issues quickly. We’re looking for flexible and responsible role models capable of attracting, retaining, and growing talent who reflect the brand.
