We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
* Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
* Ensure all areas are clean and tidy, including guest rooms, communal areas, and restrooms.
* Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
* Assist with cooking and meal preparation as needed.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
* Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages as necessary.
Skills
* Proven experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
* Previous hotel experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
* Basic cooking skills to assist with meal preparation when required.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
