Located in the South West of England, Cream Care provides bespoke residential and supported living provision for those with a range of complex needs, primarily with a profound physical disability and / or learning difficulties. Job Description

Position: HR & Payroll Administrator

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time (Please indicate your preferred working hours in your application)


What You’ll Be Doing

* Collate time and attendance data, process payroll runs and validate inputs for accurate payroll generation.
* Manage the administration of HR lifecycle for onboarding, contract changes, holiday, absences, and leavers etc.
* Maintain accurate employee records, files, and spreadsheets in line with data protection requirements.
* Act as a friendly and professional first point of contact for staff queries regarding pay, benefits, and company policies.
* Produce reports and analysis as required.
* Provide support in meeting if needed.


What We’re Looking For

* Kindness, compassion, understanding, and sensitivity in dealing with people.
* Good numerical skills for payroll tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* A proactive approach to learning and solving problems.
* (Preferably) experience of supporting managers and colleagues with basic HR queries.
* A basic understanding of employment law, HR policies, and practices.
* The ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements


About the Company

Cream care primarily provides residential care homes, we also offer some supported living provisions; our services offer care and active support to people with complex needs. Our residents and tenants are people who may have a profound and multiple learning disability (PMLD); a severe learning disability with complexity of needs; a physical disability with cerebral palsy quadriplegia with some individuals able to direct their care and support.

We are set up to provide tasks which border on nursing care; we do not have dual registration and are not licenced to complete tasks which the local clinical guidance demands a nurse to be over seeing. We can manage gastronomy care, administration of medications (all routes), offer front of mouth suctioning, manage use of and delivery of oxygen and monitor SATs. In fact there are many clinical demands we are able to cover through obtaining the right training and with the support of specialists. We aim to offer support focused on individuals who share the need for bespoke care and practice.

Since its creation in 2006, the aim of Cream Care has been to provide opportunity for development and growth, overcoming barriers in order to support people to realise their goals, wishes and aspirations.

We achieve this by putting the person at the centre of the planning process, working with them and their representatives to deliver the care and support that is right for them.
