Azure DevOps Engineer (London, Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of a secure, scalable Azure environment supporting AI and LLM-based services.
Role Overview
You will work closely with architecture, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver robust cloud solutions. The role involves hands-on engineering as well as acting as an escalation point for infrastructure issues, including occasional out-of-hours support.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/ARM)
* Support deployment and management of AI-focused platforms and containerised workloads
* Ensure high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and security best practices
* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
* Provide technical guidance and escalation support to global support teams
* Maintain clear technical and operational documentation
* Work with security teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud infrastructure, including cost efficiency
Requirements
* Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/ARM or similar)
* Understanding of containerisation technologies
* Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security best practices
* Experience supporting production cloud environments (2nd/3rd line level or equivalent)
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Familiarity with AI/LLM platforms desirable
