Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA's) to join a primary schools in the Medway Towns. You will be working in diverse but supportive environments with teams of dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality education to children of all ages.
HLTA responsibilities include:
Ability to teach the class in teachers absence
Providing support to class teachers in delivering lessons and developing schemes of work
Working with small groups and individuals to support their learning and progress
Leading whole class sessions and supporting assessment and feedback
Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and resources
Providing feedback to teachers and parents on pupil progressRequirements:
Relevant qualification in Education or Teaching Support (e.g. HLTA status, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
Experience working as an HLTA / Instructor / Cover Supervisor in a primary or secondary school setting
Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and assessment framework
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
