About the role
As an Experienced Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning during teacher absences.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising whole classes during short- and long-term teacher absences
* Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Supporting students to stay focused and on task
* Providing feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Experienced Cover Supervisor you will:
* Have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school-based role
* Be confident managing classrooms in secondary schools
* Have strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
* Be reliable, professional, and adaptable
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school-based role
