Role description
The Role - Senior Account Executive
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our UK Sales Team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the growth strategy of a company that’s changing the world of media monitoring and social listening. The candidate must be standout and demonstrate extreme curiosity with a passion for understanding the way news and social media are shaping the reputation and public perception of the world’s largest companies.
Key responsibilities
* Passionate about news and social media; interested in how breaking stories shape global perceptions.
* Creative: identify potential customers and design insightful demos and workshops for specific client challenges.
* Hands-on: use the product to gain valuable insights to help large companies make decisions and minimize crises and reputational risk.
* Strategic: develop and execute a sales plan for our most strategic buyers.
* Curious and hungry: dissect complex problems, ask questions until full understanding and quantified impact is achieved.
* Strategic relationship building: build deep relationships across all levels of an organization.
* Solution-oriented: articulate the value of NewsWhip’s platform focusing on ROI and overcoming budget constraints.
* Demonstrate a proven track record in enterprise sales and opportunity spotting; willing to take risks and learn from failures.
Additional qualifications / bonus points
* Industry knowledge: familiarity with the media monitoring space or prior use of media monitoring tools.
* Business Development experience: started as a BDR/SDR or managed a BDR/SDR team.
* Media insights, brand experience: experience selling software and media insights solutions to large global brands.
* Technical experience: selling complex technical solutions and comfort with new technology.
