SEN Teaching Assistant – Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term About the Role Destination Education is recruiting a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a welcoming primary school setting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with children and is passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. You will play an important role in supporting children with a range of additional needs, working alongside teachers and SEN professionals to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Whether supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small groups, your contribution will help build confidence, independence, and academic progress. Key Responsibilities Support pupils with Special Educational Needs both inside and outside the classroom. Deliver targeted interventions and learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher. Assist with the implementation of EHCP targets and individual support plans. Encourage positive social interactions and emotional wellbeing. Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
