Role – We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant / Product Owner to own and evolve a modern Customer Data Platform (CDP) within a complex enterprise environment. This role combines platform ownership, product thinking, and hands-on configuration, shaping how customer data is integrated, governed, and activated across the organisation. You will work with cutting-edge Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities to deliver scalable, secure, and insight-driven customer data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as Data Cloud platform owner, defining architecture, governance, roadmap, configuration standards, and operating model.
* Lead requirements discovery, solution design, and hands-on configuration of Salesforce Data Cloud.
* Ensure the platform is optimised for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
* Design and manage data ingestion and integration from upstream and downstream systems, ensuring data quality, deduplication, and synchronisation.
* Create and maintain unified customer profiles, combining data from multiple sources into a single, trusted customer view.
* Define and enforce data governance, security, and access controls, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
* Configure Data Cloud objects, data streams, transformations, automation, and activation rules.
* Deliver dashboards, reporting, and insights to track customer behaviour and platform performance.
* Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to translate business needs into platform capabilities.
* Provide enablement, guidance, and support to users and delivery teams.
Key Skills
* Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including platform architecture, configuration, and administration.
* Proven experience integrating data from multiple systems, managing data pipelines, identity resolution, and deduplication.
* Solid data modelling skills, particularly for customer and identity-centric data models.
* Experience implementing data security, privacy, and governance controls.
* Ability to design and maintain reporting and analytics for customer data platforms.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Experience working in hybrid product / delivery roles (Product Owner, Platform Owner, Lead Consultant).
