Art Teacher

Contract: Full-time
Rate of Pay: From £165 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and inspiring Art Teacher to join a dedicated and successful department. You will bring passion for the arts, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to deliver engaging, imaginative lessons that nurture students’ creativity and help them develop technical skill and artistic confidence across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high‑quality Art lessons across KS3 and KS4
Create a stimulating, inclusive and visually engaging classroom environment
Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and support student development
Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and department resources
Inspire students to explore creativity, artistic expression, critical thinking and visual literacy
Participate in school events, exhibitions, enrichment activities, and wider school initiatives
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Art and Design
Ability to engage, motivate, and challenge learners of varying abilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
