Female Personal Assistant (PA)
A friendly, reliable, and caring Female Personal Assistant is required to provide social support for a young lady living with Autism, ADHD, and Tourette's Syndrome. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting others to live independently, access their community, and pursue their interests in a positive and engaging way.
Roles and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will assist the young woman in:
- Accessing social and community activities, building confidence, and enjoying interests such as arts and crafts, visiting museums, and community outings.
- Providing personal care when required.
Qualifications
- Female applicant.
- Good sense of humour.
- Understanding, patient, and non‑judgemental.
- Comfortable around a service dog and two cats; no pet care is required.
- Ability to work confidently with someone who has Tourette's Syndrome, not easily offended by vocal or verbal tics.
- Medication administration training.
- First Aid training.
- Seizure awareness training.
Hours and Transport
The role is 12 hours per week, split over 3 days to be agreed with the PA. Employer provides transport.
