Over the last few years, the Hotel has undergone major renovations in the bedrooms, restaurant, residents lounge, sports bar and all public areas. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Spa & Leisure Manger (A NEW POISITION) to join our team at Aldwark Manor Estate. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the industry and to support the Head of Spa & Leisure in the day to day running of the business while working to maximum within the sales on a daily basic. While supporting in the management of the team as well as being a key member of the team in driving memberships. Purpose of the role: To ensure that the Spa & Leisure business is running smoothly with Head of Spa & Leisure. Main duties include : To support the Head of Spa & Leisure in all aspects of the day to day running of the Spa and Leisure to actively ensure standards are running efficiently and effectively across the operation. Work closely with the Head of Spa & Leisure to establish and drive through sales and marketing campaigns with related departments heads. Under the guidance of the Head of Spa & Leisure, and in line with departmental policies, ensure that all operational procedures, commercial expectations and codes of conduct are met. To ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the Spa and Leisure department. To be fully aware of all Hotel service and activities. Develop an exceptional spa & Leisure team throughout effective leadership and management To take an active role within the driving of membership Sales, to ensure with are in line with budgets. Take an active role within Health & Safety and Fire polices and ensure that these are being followed through out the business. To be fully aware of, and strictly adhere to, security procedures laid down by the hotel and company. This to include keys, stock and property. To record and report all faults and damage arising to Maintenance. To ensure on all occasions you observe safe and hygienic working practices in order to satisfy Health and Safety at Work and other statutory legislation. To record, report and process lost property according to hotel procedures. To assist with the training of team members To be fully aware of and comply with hotel and company rules and regulations as identified in the team member handbook. Work with the fitness team to ensure that all classes are being completed and give in a professional manage.
