The Role
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of Security systems (Access control, CCTV, Intruder alarms, etc) in various commercial and industrial spaces.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Installation, Service, Repair, Fault‑finding & Maintenance of IP CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarm Systems
* Field based role, covering the Hull and surrounding area
* Working on a range of brands of manufacturer including Paxton, Galaxy, Menvier, Texecom or Hikvision.
* Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered
* Carry out effective communication with customers at all times
* Ensure tasks are completed efficiently
* Providing support to team members where required
* Able to work independently as well as within a team. Fire alarm experience preferred but not essential
* Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
* Hours of Work: 45 hours per week, 8 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
* Location: Hull & the surrounding areas, with flexibility to travel throughout the UK as required. Hotel stays may be necessary on an occasional basis.
Skills and Experience Required:
* A full UK driving licence or equivalent (Essential)
* A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
* Ideally you will have at least 2‑3 years’ experience working within the Security Industry
* Knowledge of a range of manufacturers
* Desirable qualifications include: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA and/or City & Guilds

* Salaries ranging from £32,000 to £36,000 depending on experience
* Call out standby fee £100 per week
* Working away allowance £25 per night plus expenses
* 23 days holiday, 1 day holiday additional per year up to 28 days PLUS bank holidays

Experience:
* Security: 3 years (preferred)
* Security Engineering: 2 years (preferred)
